Stockbridge-Munsee

Background Information and Origin
In the 1800's the Stockbridge migrated from the East coast to central Wisconsin.  Shortly after, the Munsee tribe moved down from Canada to join the Stockbridge tribe in Central Wisconsin.  After this union they came to be known as the Stockbridge-Munsee.  This tribe has struggled to survive and maintain their uniqueness.
