REPORT CARD FOR PARENTS

Instructions:  Grade yourself with an A, B, C, D, or F on how well you help your child/children learn.
  An A means that you are a very supportive parent.  An F means that you have a lot of work to do.
	_____	Maintain a good working relationship with my child's teacher.
	_____	Attend all parent-teacher conferences and Parent Committee Meetings.
	_____	Read to my child each day and encourage those who can read to read on their own.
	_____	Take my child to the library.
	_____	Provide a quiet time and place for my child to study and read.
	_____	Insist that my child do all homework assigned to him/her.
	_____	Expect my child to do his/her best in all subjects, including math, science, social studies, language arts, physical education and music.
	_____	Take an interest in what interests my child and show pleasure and pride in his/her accomplishments.
	_____	Encourage my child to do his/her best without putting undue pressure on him/her to succeed in school, athletics or other extracurricular pursuits.
	_____	Support the efforts of teachers and the school.
	_____	Secure special assistance if my child needs it.
	_____	Limit television watching while offering other family activities.
	_____	See that my child gets lots of exercise, nutritious food and plenty of rest.
	_____	Respect my child and his/her feelings as I do those of my friends and other family members
