5.  Draw a colored map of where a major part of the story takes place.  (Include and lable major landmarks.)

6.  Tell what you think happened before the story began.

7.  Write a review of the novel.

8.  Write an interview with one of the main characters and answer the interview questions.

9.  Make a collage representing a major theme of the novel.

10.  Write a poem or a rap about the book.

11.  Write several diary entries of one of the main characters.  (This could be done as you are reading.)

12.  Make a poster advertising the book and its author.

13.  Write a letter to the author of the book.

14.  Make a Power Point presentation for the novel.

15.  Create your own original presentation of the book.
